It was a surprisingly quaint little stop. The guide was very informative and answered all of our questions. The one complaint I had was there wasn't any refreshments, not even a water fountain. For being extremely far from any store and being baked in the...More

On our latest visit to Pensacola Beach, my husband and I took a break from the surf to do a little sight-seeing and get a history lesson. What great days we had at Fort Pickens! We purchased a seven-day pass and were able to utilize...More

A wonderful way to spend the afternoon. My wife and I happened upon this spot while on our vacation this year. A surprise to say the least and I'm no civil war buff, so I have no preconceived notions of what should or should not...More

Nice place as long as the weather holds out. Not a lot of dive visibility but lots of creatures, fish and sea life in general. There is a fee to come in to park. Nice grounds, museum and structure for history buffs.

I've been here twice and each time I am amazed and the raw beauty of it all. So unspoiled that you can quite fathom it. Shelling is pretty good and well as fishing. It's a little pricey but don't let that stop you. The view...More

If you like historical places, then this a place you should visit. We came on August 25, 2016 and it was great. We had beautiful weather and we had a special treat. We got to see the Blue Angel's practicing.

We really enjoyed our tour of Fort Pickens. The tour guide was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and gave us all quite a history lesson. Even my teenaged sons enjoyed it. Lots of uneven paths, so folks be advised. We didn't have problems, but...More

We have been rving in loop A since 2010 and always have a great experience. With miles of beach, we love the isolation we can find. Beautiful white sand and clear waters. Though the new bath house is nicer than the old, in the summer...More

There is a fee to get through a gate. I believe it was either $10 or $15 per car.

We were there in late October. It was cool, but we were still able to comfortably walk the beach. We didn't swim, but still enjoyed our time there.
