I booked a hotel room for my parents and my teenage niece to stay at the hotel next to the castle while i was with my in-laws in this village. It was a pleasant surprise to have found this hotel that was well preserve in history but with modern amenities. Each room were different and thematically designed based on its history with real historical artifacts. The updates make the stay convenient, like the well designed bathrooms and the heating/cooling system and refrigerator for drinks. The locations is amazing as it is in the center of the village next to all the bars and restaurant, when my parents are done for the night’s festivities, their hotel is a short walk away. The staff are super friendly and spoke English. The view from the room was cool as you can see the castle and the park. They provide drinking water ad the rates are very good for what you get. I highly recommend this hotel.

Small hotel attached to the Castle.
Restaurant, bar downstairs with great food in a family setting. Hotel decor is medieval yet it is ultra modern in its amenities. Legends of ghosts will sound reasonable.
Great location to explore this small
City.

It is located in the town of Bolaños itself. It is small and from the outside it looks restored and rebuilt. But inside it has practically nothing interesting. I wouldn't waste my time going to see it, it's not worth it.
