Enjoyed the walk and the scenic views around the place. My wife, children and I spent 2 hours trekking the steps to bat cave. On our way we saw some birds, nice wild flowers, clear stream and very fresh air.

You can have a peaceful mind, walk away from all the noise and crowd in the wood. So amazed by the 2000-year-old tree, and the effort on forrest reservation. We spend 1.5 hours there. If you love hiking, it's easy to stay there for at least 3 hours!

Nice treks for the family

Take a deep fresh breathe

You can have a peaceful mind, walk away from all the noise and crowd in the wood. So amazed by the 2000-year-old tree, and the effort on forrest reservation. We spend 1.5 hours there. If you love hiking, it's easy to stay there for at least 3 hours!

Native village - fascinating!

Taipei souvenir shops have cute fridge magnets of Taiwan natives - here's the real thing. A village in a valley. Your visit should connect with a show of native dancing - colourful costumes, toe-tapping music, but simple dancing. Worth taking the time to walk beyond the village to see the new large suspension bridge that replaces one washed away by floods.

Nice park for a break

This is a nice place for a break after hiking for over 4 hours in rueili. But the view is definitely better on the other hiking trails

IT was one of the beautiful landscapes I've ever seen. Natures baby. Taiwan has many such landscapes, which is worth trekkiing and hiking. Better for energetic walkers. Mountainous terrain. Still lovely to behold and worth the challenge
