Digha is a popular weekend destination specially for young crowd in Kolkata. But the beauty of this beach has been destroyed by the tourists itself. There is no place to sit or relax at the beach. Beach is too crowded and equally dirty.

It's my favorite weekend destination from Kolkata. Whenever a weekend followed by a holiday appears in the calendar we are off for Digha. It's devine beach, its sunrise, food and ambiance always attracts us.

Try to stay in Shankarpur or Tajpur, though Tajpur is costlier than the 1st one.
