Good cream tea, cream-loving cat

Tasty cream tea in really interesting garden - lots of plants to admire plus a cream loving cat. Nice service from waitress.

Having lived in Devon /Cornwall for over 10 years, I've always meant to visit, just never quite got around to it. So today on a gloriously sunny April afternoon, we were out for a drive and stopped in. I'm disappointed that I've never been before, as the location is stunning, and the tea and cake gorgeous, with varied multiple choice... More

A lovely little spot, beautiful garden to stroll around & it follows over to a weer. Small place great for a short stop. Scones, cakes delicious, other food was available. Worth a stop. Very quaint.

Absolutely brilliant place for lunch and a cream tea. Beautiful gardens and our young children under four were enchanted as were the adults. A must visit if you are in Hartland area.

Close to Spekes Mill, an incredible garden, we have visited a few times and loved the spring time with the Blue bells and rounded off with a cream tea, it's clear the owners love what the do.. A must visit.

Very nice gardens, even in September. Planting was really interesting especially in the area by the streams - with the rose's scent lovely. You won't go hungry at the tea room - was hoping for a cream tea but couldn't fit it in after a ciabatta unfortunately.... One watch out the paths are rather slippy after rain so wear sensible... Tucked away in a beautiful part of Devon is this delightful tea room. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the ciabattas were delicious. The gardens were so tranquil and really nice to explore.
