Wonderful views, early hike best in warmer weather. Does have some narrow, steep rocky points. Hiking shoes and poles helpful if you are not as strong in the legs as you would like to be.

We hiked this trail the morning of Saturday May 6. It is a great hike! The wildflowers were in bloom (& hopefully still are), changing with each turn and change in altitude. A beautiful show! The day was overcast, nice because there was no morning...More

Delightful walk, easy gradients and spectacular views of some of the highest sandstone cliffs in America, unto 2000ft. But you don't need to climb high to see them. A perfect short trail for the evening and not crowded, we saw just a handful of walkers.

We did Angel's Landing and the riverside portion of the narrows, the hanging gardens, the emerald pools and this was our favorite hike. The rocks are so interesting along the trail and the view of everything is gorgeous. We hiked this just before dark and...More

The watchman trail was my daughter and myself favorite hike at Zion. We were unable to do the narrows due to high waters still at end of April, they said it would be a few more weeks till it reopened. If angel's landing is too...More

We ended our trip with this hike. It's about two hours and not nearly as punishing as Angels Landing, East Rim, et al. Great view from the bottom of the canyon looking up, which is opposite of most views

This is a pretty mellow trail by Zion standards. There is some climbing, but the views make it worth the steps! At the top, there are beautiful views of the surrounding area. We did this on our first afternoon in the park and it was...More

I came to Zion National Park during Easter weekend. The crowds were overwhelming on some of the well-known trails. This one doesn't require a ride on the shuttle. It's about 4 miles to the top and it's really a beautiful hike. I recommend it!

Took a hike on The Watchman Trail. Moderate effort needed due to the steepness of some parts. Felt like a longer Trail than that described on the board at the start! The views at the end are well worth the effort!

We spent 2-3 hours on this trip. My husband and I are both in our 60s and in reasonable physical shape, and this hike was not a problem for us. We wore good hiking boots and had lots of water with us. Since it was...More
