amazing feet of engineering in its time but now too small to take the larger vehicles so it a one way controlled system. We waited about 15 mins to get access. Might be a watch out at very busy times

If you come to Zion park via East entrance you have to use this tunnel.Be prepared for waiting here,but not for a long time.There are nice views to the landscape when you leave the tunnel.

Definitely interesting, unique and historical. Windows in the walls are unusual. Lots of history. You can also view it from the west side in the canyon on the western end. Stop at the lowest switchback curve to see the historical plaque.

if you have a personal car, no. if you have a larger vehicle its a $15 fee. larger then 11 feet in height or 7 feet wide. you receive and pay for the permit at the tunnel entrance, whether you are heading into Zion or out... More
