Angel's Landing is one of Zion's most spectular scenic outlooks; it can be reached only by a very demanding hike on the West Rim Trail.

Went with a few friends, average age of 50 and men all in reasonably good shape. The approach hike from Grotto up the 1,400 ascent to the West Rim Trail gets your heart beating but is a well-prepared path to walk on. The half mile...More

This was my favorite. It was a tough go getting up but so worth the view and the feeling of accomplishment. I would love to do it again. It was crowded, even for the beginning of May, but worth it. So beautiful.

Incredible view and enjoyable hike to get to the top. Lots of people trying it meant waits along the way as several spots only have room for one way travel. We are really feeling it today in our legs but it is well worth it...More

This ranks as one of my top 5 favorite trails. Amazing views from all sides, all the way up. A fairly strenuous hike, but so worth the effort once you get to the top. The last half mile climbs a rocky ledge with sheer drop-offs...More

I had never been to Zion before. But I had seen the historic photograph by John K. Hillers of Major Powells second Grand Canyon expedition and always wondered at it. I'm a rock climber: with more time how i'd love to get into what's here....More

The hike from Scouts lookout to Angels Landing was the longest .5 miles of my life, but worth every moment. The chains give you a sense of security and most of the hikers were courteous about taking turns going up and down where there wasn't...More

One advise and that is: visit this! Beautiful nature along the way and not only the destination. Just take care of yourself with good shoes, good clothing and water.

Great half day hike with amazing views. Highly recommend you leave early if you are going to top. The last half mile is one way traffic and when busy can be a bit frustrating waiting for others. Regardless, this was one of the cooler hikes...More

This park is breath taking. Take your time and spend some quality time here. Great short hikes or long ones if you are up to it!

No but certainly helpful until you get to the chains. Then they are in the way.
