If you’re in good shape, own grippy hiking or running shoes, and don’t suffer from vertigo or fear of heights, then do Angel’s Landing… but only on DRY days! Slickrock is so named for a reason. People have fallen and died here. It was hard...More

Wow. This was the best hike in Zion. My kids(15,13,12) really enjoyed it. It is steep and strenuous but if you go slow you can do it. We went on a day they were expecting rain.We went early because they said it was going to...More

It is a difficult hike, but worth it with the view! Definitely hike it early in the morning. My husband and I hopped on the first bus to the trail and hiked it early. Best thing we did. At the end when you are on...More

This hike is labeled as "strenuous" and at the top, it definitely is. Most hikers could go as far as Walter's Wiggles, though, and be fine. The trek to the top includes chains to hold on to and very narrow ledges. I am afraid of...More

This hike is a strenuous, but gorgeous feature of Zion Nat'l Park. After a great night's rest at the Zion Lodge and a short headlamp lit hike up to the Grotto trailhead/ bus stop, we started up this baby at 6:21 AM, hit Scout's Landing...More

It lives up to its many reputations including the amazing views and strenuous workout you'll experience. It also shocks you a bit as you near the top and see just how narrow and treacherous the trail becomes. We arrived at the trailhead around 8:30 am...More

During a recent 2-day trip to Zion we hiked a few trails, rode the shuttles and took in as much as we could. What an amazing, well-organized place this is. Everything is so beautiful, I have nothing but superlatives to describe the views. Every time...More

This is absolutely NOT for anyone who is not in semi decent to good physical shape and fully mobile. If you begin your trip to the top of Angel's Landing do it only with a good weather forecast and start your hike in the morning....More
