The views from the top of Angel's Landing are unbeatable. The hike is a bit strenuous but the biggest challenge is in your head. If you're not too afraid of heights, you'll be fine. Go in the morning to beat the crowds and avoid on windy days.

So started at the trail head at 820am, and honestly the best decision. Was quite intense and steep on the asend up. I have two 13 yr olds and a 15 year old 2 made it up the other didn't. It was too much for her. So go slow and it's not a race. Absolutely beautiful! No bathrooms on the... More

Zion NP is an amazing park with so much to see and do! Angels landing was number one on our list, it was strenuous but well worth it. The view from on top was absolutely beautiful and the climb up was fun. I would give your self at least 4 hours even if your a regular hiker or in great... More

My family has done this hike any number of times. Most recently we went mid-morning in late-March. As always, it's a beautiful hike, but WOW, what an ant farm. Just too many people as you work your way out on to the fin above Scout Lookout. Some people are bothered by the exposure above this point, creating a grid-lock as... More

Just did the climb it was great except for the crowds. I wish I could get back when it's not busy. It is not an easy trek but the views are fantastic. We got to the trail head at 2 pm and I felt like I was in a line the entire way up. Take enough water be patient and... More

I was determined to do this hike and finally managed it in just over 4hrs. The first part of the hike is pretty easy, it gets a little more difficult at the switch-backs (reminds me of Lombard St in San Francisco but with hikers not cars!) You then reach a plateau where the faint hearted can stop but if you... More

I'm 54 and did the final accent. Not too difficult, but the trail can be full of stupid people and that is were it gets dangerous. We were there the first week of spring break, so there were many people. Lots of people on the trail had a fear of heights, didn't have hiking shoes or water. Stay home if... More

Was highly recommended and didn't disappoint. Started at 8 and were back by 11. Recommend this timing to avoid crowds - was already getting crowed on way down.

This is a must do if you have any decent level of fitness. I recommend you hit the trail by 8 am at the latest. The crowds make the return trip at the top slow

This really is a beautiful hike, but the crowds really ruined it for us. If you have the space, the climb up to the highest point is really not that bad. It only gets scary when you're constantly having to let people pass that are moving in the opposite direction. It's absolutely gorgeous and not a very long climb at... More
