The mandatory shuttle leaves from the visitors center and travels six miles through the most popular canyon road, with seven stops in between.

This is a great way to get around the park, and during the summer months, it's the only way to get up the main canyon unless you're staying at Zion Lodge. We stayed in Springdale and rode the free Springdale shuttle each morning to the...More

We were pleasantly surprised by this convenient transportation into Zion National Park. We were picked up just outside our hotel, and arrived at the park within minutes. The buses ran on a regular basis, so we never had to wait very long for it to...More

During the peak tourist season, using the park shuttle bus is required; no autos are allowed on the canyon road. Thankfully, the shuttle system was fast and efficient during our visit. Even though the Visitor Center parking lot filled, and cars lined the highway approaching...More

There's not a better way to see the park - you'll save valuable time looking for parking spaces and waiting for other sightseers to leave for a space of your own. Easy on-off at each shuttle stop and literally no waiting for the next shuttle...More

Beautiful park. You must use the shuttle to see most stops. Don't miss out on the 12 mile scenic drive through the tunnel. That was just as great!

The shuttle service was unexpected. We didn't know we couldn't drive ourselves so finding a park was a battle unless you went to Springdale. An excellent idea. We went all the way to the end stop and worked our way back. We didn't wait long,...More

The shuttle is a great idea to keep cars from polluting the park. It runs every few minutes, so there is very little wait time. It really is handy.

Since this is the only way to see the interior of the canyon, there is no competition. But this really is a good, efficient way to get around. And far better than having the roads clogged with cars. My only gripe was with one staff...More

The shuttle is free, fast, on time, frequent. And the drivers (especially Connie) are so sweet! They talk during the ride, giving info and suggestions and ... They are just so lovely and nice! Loved it!

My husband and I traveled just a couple of weeks ago, and it was required that we use the shuttle for the scenic drive. It was a great way to see the sites. There was a bit of narration, and there wasn't much of a...More

There is tour operated by the Park given by a Ranger. You sign up at the visitors center. People that have only one day or are not able to hike around take this tour. I understand it's pretty good though we didn't take it... More

There are 9 stops on the shuttle. None of these could be considered overlooks. The shuttle runs thru the valley with mountains rising on either side. You are down low. There is, however, a stunning drive, in your... More
