This is our second trip with Wildland Trekking. We love knowing we will have an experienced guide, great gear and a week of making wonderful family memories. It's such a treat to just enjoy the trip because the guide has planned all the food, activities and itinerary. We look forward to our next Wildland Trekking trip! Jeanelle was just great. She was so informative about what we were seeing, she did a great job routing us on the best path, keeping us on schedule and feeding us such delicious food!

We had a great experience on our first time using Wildland Trekking. Our guide Ben communicated with us beforehand to help us prepare and was very accessible via email for questions. Ben did a great job on our trek and is not only very knowledgeable about the area and terrain, but also an all around lovely person. We will definitely use Wildland again!

I truly cannot say enough great things about the Death Valley Basecamp Tour with Wildland Trekking. I did the basecamp trip at the end of January and everything about this whole experience was absolutely perfect and highly professional. The information provided prior to the trip was great and gave me plenty of information to know how to pack and what to expect. Our guides, Samantha and Holly were amazing! They were fun, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. They were right there any time anyone was struggling in any way – whether it was my embarrassing fear of heights, someone was falling behind, or someone needing a little extra help… they were both incredibly attentive and encouraging every step of the way (sometimes literally). They really tried to make sure we all had a great experience. Death Valley is beautiful! I had no idea there was that much diversity there. We did a variety of hikes (slot canyon, salt flats, meteor crater, badlands, old mine, waterfall) and they were challenging, without being overly so. The stars at night around the campfire were also beautiful. As far as the food – it was OUTSTANDING! It definitely exceeded my expectations – it was not typical camp food. It was pure gourmet and I’m pretty sure I gained weight! Samantha and Holly were very careful to note the food preferences we listed prior to the trip and I’m sure for six people, that’s not always easy. Another thing to mention – I was a little nervous being a solo female signing up and going on a trip with people I didn’t know. However, this was one of the best things I’ve done in a long time. I met some really incredible people who were also solo travelers, felt completely safe, and had SO much fun!! This was my first trip with Wildland Trekking and I am absolutely 100% looking forward to planning another trip with them.

The Death Valley Basecamp tour is a gem. Samantha and Holly were incredible guides - patient, supportive, caring and fun. They knew their way around the desert and I always felt safe and in good hands. They took care to make sure we all had a great experience. I’m not a camper but the tents were surprisingly comfy and cozy. I was nice and toasty in my sleeping bag. The equipment they supplied was top notch and clean. The homemade meals were gourmet-delicious and I still marvel at how they made them. Don’t hesitate to be physically challenged on this great tour - you’ll make friends, be immersed in incredible natural beauty and feel protected the whole time!

Our family hiked up to Angels Landing with Samantha. It was one of the best hikes and vacations we've had. Gorgeous views of an amazing area. Sam was great and we plan to return to Zion or Bryce and The Wildland Trekking Co will be our go-to for guided trips in the future.
