Surprising to find a cemetery of this size in the middle of the SNP, but there it is. A wonderful final resting spot for so many people and a place of solitude for family to come pay respects to their loved ones.

Who would have thought of a manicured cemetery being just off Skyline Drive and near the A.T. A wonderful place for families to visit passed loved ones and spend time.

Beautiful, clean cemetery with a lot of history. The Dean Family should be very proud of how wonderful they have taken care of it and kept it up.

Stopped here on a whim to stretch our legs, and we have always been interested in old cemeteries. Dean family keeps this up very well, and the headstones show a family of patriots.

While hiking the Appalachian Trail we came upon the cemetery. While some of the gravesite go back a long way, some were as recent as last year. It is a peaceful site, and we offered a prayer for those for whom this is their final...More

The Dean Cemetery contains over a hundred graves and is still being used today by their descendants. It is well kept & a tribute to a family who lived in this area, as far back as the early 1800s. I would recommend reading the 80...More

A chain was up. We couldn't get in. It looked interesting. My spouse & I love to check out cemeteries. Disappointing!
