We had been in the go for over a week, touring national parks and hiking. Letting a horse be our legs was a nice change of pace! We had a great time! Lobster and Levi treated us well and our guide was super friendly and informative! Would do this again in a heartbeat!

We rode horses as a family only one in our party had much experience. Horses were energetic and willing but calm and the trail was just beautiful. They charged us for a two hour trail but we rode about a half hour longer. Definitely worth the money

We took a two hour trail ride in August. It was a nice slow ride with mild mannered horses, they only needed a small bit of direction at times. Really good for our inexperienced riders. Our guide was pleasant and pointed out many interesting trees and plants. She was also very willing to tell us all about the horses, the... More

My youngest daughter loves horses so this excursion was all for her. We booked the 2 hour trip and I was a little skeptical due to some of the other reviews I read about the stables. The ride ended up being the highlight of my trip to King's Canyon. Our horses appeared well cared for and the staff were all... More

The ride itself was ok, the horses were easy to handle. This is not a "guided" tour. Heather spoke in as few words as possible. Only pointed out General Grant and Sequoia Lake. Besides that she had no info to offer. We asked a few questions but got 2 word answers. There's a sign that says "tip your guide if... More

This trip to the sequoia and kings canyon was a dream come true visit! The area is just breathtaking and viewing these majestic trees are absolutely stunning and unreal! Everyone should have the ability to view and spend time here taking in the beauty of these trees and nature all around! The park is clean with plenty of space and... More

As a horse owner, I appreciate the care the owners give the horses. The trails are not meant for trotting or cantering. Too many rocks. Also, not everyone knows how to control a horse beyond a walk. If the horses are allowed a faster pace for an "experienced" rider, they can't distinguish the rider with no experience. Know you will... More

I had not ridden a horse in years so I was looking forward to this part of our trip. When we got there we noticed that the stables were a bit rundown and the horses a bit depressed, but unfortunately this did not raise any red flags and we continued with our prescheduled trip. Then we got to the ride.... More

We went on a two hours ride down into the Sequoia grove. The horses only walked at a slow pace. There was not much interaction with the guide as she walked up front. we were kind of done after an hour. Guide was not very talkative, maybe because she'd been out with several groups that day already. She pointed out several... More

WOW! If you want an absolutely beautiful horseback ride, this is the place! Gorgeous huge sequoia trees and pines up and down hills in the national park. Plus the folks were fabulous, from the lady who scheduled us to the guides, everyone was really great. The horses were FABULOUS! Really well behaved and made for a very enjoyable ride. I... More
