My kids do the passport stamp for national parks- bummed that we only had 1 day at this park and we missed the open hours so they were not able to get their stamp 😞

The visitor center was smaller than I expected for a national park so grand. There is a post office, general store and restaurant right next to it if you need supplies.

This is where you get your National Park Passport Stamp. The front desk volunteers were friendly and helpful.

A good place to start your exploration of Kings Canyon. The self guided tour is informative and is supported by a nice video that gives a good history of the area. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Go through the center on a self guided tour to get the lay of the land and figure out where you want to go. We went in late May and road conditions can be difficult. Rhe rangers have up to date info.

Nice, large, informative visitors center! Be sure to visit here before touring. They have several displays, a very nice video explaining how the area was discovered.

This was a nice visitor center, well appointed with a movie describing the park and some nice exhibits. Definitely a good place to start before viewing other areas of the Canyon.
