loved all the Saguaro Cactus

Fun Drive. Amazing how they form and each one is slightly different, and yet all alike. This is a nice drive

We took the loop drive into this national park which was 10$ for a private car. All service personnel was extremely friendly. The scenic drive is about 8 miles long and brings you around thousands of Saguaro cactuses, plenty of plants and - if you are lucky - also some animals.

Also known as Saguaro National Park East. This is a wonderful place to visit even if you're from the area. An 8 mile loop drive with lots of pull outs, couple of hiking trails, mountain biking trail and pic-nic areas. Mostly one way but the great and interesting thing is, when they laid out the road, they followed the natural... More

We made a special detour to see this place. We found the $10 admission to see this place (good for a week and also the west park) well worth it. We took the drive on a quiet September weekday morning and had the place virtually to our self other than the odd cyclist. This meant we could stop virtually anywhere... More

We spent a bit of time before lunch in downtown Tucson touring this drive wishing the Saguaro East - Rincon Mountain District. of the Saguaro National Park. The Park visitors office is at the entrance and you can get a map and a ranger answers questions. The drive itself is lovely. There are twists and turns and changes in elevation.... More

This Park is just about in our backyard, and we have driven the Drive countless times, however, never in the rain. So this morning (9/7), as we woke up to a very rainy day, on a whim, we decided to go to the Park. I called first, as there are quite a few washes crossing the road, which I am... More

We did the 8-mile scenic drive through the park. Was very beautiful and the perfect thing to do on a 109 degree day.

The one-way drive takes a long half hour. There are some nice views while doing the drive and plenty of pictures have been taken during the drive. It is also allowed to do the track by foot or bike.

We really enjoyed driving this loop during our visit in June. Plenty to see from the car if you don't want to get out, but also lots to explore if you want to pull off and snap pictures. Just watch out for critters and cacti. Very fun. Don't forget to stop by the visitor center to refill your water and... More

I took my granddaughter thru the east park while visiting Tucson. We saw many different types of Cactus and got to climb on the rocks toward the end of the drive. We did not see much wildlife only a few birds and a few chipmunks. It was a nice 6 mile drive and is a great opportunity to see Arizona... More
