Walked up to the falls after taking photos of a young Moose passing thru the parking lot. Really nice views from the rushing water falls look out. But hike further on past the top of the falls and follow where the water is coming from...More

Hiking with our 10 yr old grandson who understands what a payoff is when you end your hike at gorgeous waterfalls! Adams Falls did not disappoint. We walked a bit further to see the valley too.

This was the start of our hike to back country camping- trail head is right at the end of Grand Lake and there is a parking lot. Bit of an up but you can circle around the falls as well at the viewing area. Great...More

This is a short hike, about 1/3 of a mile, but there is a pretty good climb, so out-of-shape folks (such as myself) should take it fairly slowly. Like many places in Rocky Mountauin National Park, the view changes about every 15 steps, so make...More

Calypso Cascades is much better than Adams Falls but this attraction motivated us to explore the West side of RMNP, which was totally worth the drive. Grand Lake is serene and less-crowded than Estes Park. We also saw much more wildlife on the W side...More

This is a nice first up hike when visiting RMNP. 0.3miles from start to the falls. Little bit of a climb but not difficult. There is a pool just upstream of the viewing deck that little ones can splash around in.

The Adams falls is a cascade waterfall within .3 of a mile from the start of the trail. The falls are a nice treat, but continue on to the meadow for more amazing views and some wildlife. We saw moose, deer, elk, hummingbirds, and chipmunks.

A short hike that gets a little rock and steeper as you go along, but not that far. The trailhead is outside of Grand Lake, CO on the west side of the park. After the short hike (less than a half-mile I think) you begin...More

This is definitely worth the short walk to the falls. It is not a strenuous walk. There were many children and senior adults on the trail. The trail to the falls is actually in Grand Lake before you get to Rocky Mountain National Park.
