My son and I explored Sol Duc waterfall in September 2017. It's a nice little hike, but easy and the waterfall is stunning. The boardwalk goes right up to it so you can get some fantastic pictures. I highly recommend this site.

We hiked to the falls. It was a fairly easy hike and the falls are beautiful. You come to a small falls and bridge before the Sol duc Falls. I recommend this hike for anyone visiting the park.

From the parking lot it is about 3/4 mile to the falls. The well maintained trail winds through the temperate rain forest with a bridge that crosses a beautiful stream. Just past a trail shelter is the falls. It is fabulous from any angle.

We actually had a picture of this on one of those free calendars you get in the mail. Never dreamed I'd actually find it. Be careful when driving on Hwy 101 because we drove right past the entrance road. Beautiful walk through the woods, about...More

We went on a Monday in mid September. There were plenty of other people on the trail but it wasn't swarming. There's plenty of up and down on the hike that can be strenuous, but if you take it slow & bring a walking stick...More
