This was my first hike, and it was absolutely incredible. The hike up to Lake Lena was around 3.5 miles and it was a steady incline the entire time. There were some down trees and because it was mid March, the higher up we went the more snow there was. My friend took her dog, a border collie/German Shepherd and... More

Fun for the whole family as this hike is not extremely difficult. Kids may have a somewhat easy time finishing it, but its a nice spot to take your time and enjoy the scenery.

This is one of my favorite hikes. It's fairly short and somewhat easy (about 3 miles each way). The lake is beautiful, and there's plenty of places to sit and have picnic. You can take smaller children on this hike. This is a popular trail so be prepared to see other hikers and campers.

Just... More

This is a great day hike with lots of switch backs, but really beautiful little lake at the top.

The lake is stunning and this hike provides a great view of it. If you can withstand the water temperature, it's fun to swim around in. It tends to get really busy in the summer though...
