The lake is a true jewel but if you are near and want a great hike try parking at Cresent Lake Lodge and taking about an hour to hike out and back to Marymere falls. Great dirt trail with a slight climb to the falls...More

We drove and hiked around Lake Crescent multiple times during our week's stay in the Port Angeles area. Some days, the lake was completely flat. It's clear and deep. I recommend the Spruce Railroad Trail hike the parallels part of the lake. The Devil's Punchbowl...More

Nice stop as you travel in the park. Visit the old lodge, as it has great views and interesting interior. Not as grand as Yellowstone, but from that erra. They do rent kayaks and canoes, and is a great place for it.

After visiting Olympic NP on a cold, drizzly day, we drove from Port Angeles to Forks hoping to go to Hoh Rain Forest but we didn't make it that far. Driving by the lake was beautiful. The water was so beautiful. Especially when living in...More

This place is gorgeous, we went when there was the smoke from the forest fires affecting the visibility so it didn't look as amazing as it does in pictures we've seen of the area. There were a few people swimming in the lake but it...More

We stopped by to rent kayaks from Lake Crescent Lodge. It's $20 for a hour, but both the desk person we rented from and the shore attendant kept adding more time so we actually got our kayaks for about 1.5 hours. The water is beautiful!...More

Look for East Beach. If you take the Joyce Piedmont road all the way to the lake there are a bunch of pay areas. If you keep going on 112 you will drive past East Beach. We were able to find it my mistake and...More

Lake is very beautiful. Plus, highway 101 lets you drive for 10 miles exactly along the coast of Lake Crescent which adds extraordinary feeling.

You will pass by Crescent lake while driving between sites at Olympic NP. The lake is beautiful and right next to 101. Unfortunately when we were there, it was very smoky from all the wildfires, so the vistas were a bit spooky. Normally you can...More

Crescent Lake is easy to access. Park your car and take walk on to the pier, or enjoy one of the hiking traisl. This is a deep, glacially carved lake.

Hello, When we were at Crescent Lake we did not stay at the hotel/motel or have an RV. I would call them to find out if there is space. June could be busy and you may not have the spot. Hope this helps. Safe travels!

I'm not sure. I haven't camped there before. You could reach them by calling the park and finding out through their Park Rangers or the Lake Crescent Lodge staff.
