Crescent lake was a wonderful surprise on our trip to the Olympic Park. Be sure to check out how clear the water is and to walk past the lodge to enjoy the small peninsula.

This is a great gem to visit on the way through the park. The water is crystal clear. It is surrounded by mountains. It was peaceful and tranquil!

Crescent Lake is a perfect gem sitting calmly on the Olympic Peninsula. It looks out of place with it's calm waters surrounded by tall hills on all sides. Beautiful....relaxing...no other way to describe it.

I've enjoyed the mountains on the Olympic Peninsula but this was my first lake surrounded by mountains. It's breathtakingly beautiful. The drive along the lake stretches 12.5 miles and it's part of the Olympic National Park. Be sure to visit the Lodges there for a brief respite or meal, a passport stamp. There is a boat launch as well, but... More

Great hiking trails in the surrounding rainforest. Great for families: there are easy paved short hikes that even little ones can do. Kids will also love spending time playing on the beach or in the streams along the trails

It's the most picturesque lake in WA, reminded us a little Glacier NP, Montana lakes. The beach is comfortable with many benches and picnic tables, people enjoying company, canooing, kids swimming, and even dogs wagging happily with their tails. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the beds were wonderful. Most of them, if not all, have the veiw of... More

This is a nice drive after a visit to Hurricane Ridge. It is a bit of a drive, and there are some marked short cuts. We took a primitive road short cut, and I felt like we were going to end up on as a mystery story on a TV show. Stick to the main road, enjoy the views. Along... More

The nice thing about Crescent Lake is that there is so much to do in such a small area. The lake itself is really beautiful with clear water and surrounded by mountains. The Lodge is a nice place to get coffee or tea and just sit and relax. There is a really great nature trail you can take from the... More
