Beautiful lake and dam. The water is so still and sparked in the sun. You really can't find a more picturesque spot.

This dam has a feature that is unique. There is arosdway you can drive on. We crossed the dam and enjoyed tremendous views of the lake.

Diablo Dam is located in the North Cascades. It is a little less then 100 years old. The power from the dam serves the city of Seattle. It's an interesting and beautiful stop if you happen to be on route 20.

It was an absolutely gorgeous view of the snow-capped Cascade mountains and Diablo Lake with a dam that you can walk out onto. There were also not many people there when we went so it was very tranquil with the sound of the water.

What an awe-inspiring view from the viewpoint. Take your time to walk around and read the information tables to learn more about the history and geology. Great parking lot and safe return to the highway.

This is great place to visit. We didn't take a tour, but just walked across the road to the other side. The spillway from the dam was in full force and it was a sight to behold!

The dam has a roadway going across that's barely 2 cars wide. You cannot park on this roadway (and the rangers will come hassle you if you park even to the side with plenty of space left on the road) but that's where some of...More

Lake Diablo Dam is great stopping point if you're driving on route 20. It's an older dam with a very nice design. There is parking after you drive over to the other side of the dam.
