The two car ferry across Green River from Dog Creek Park to Mammoth Cave is such fun and it saves you about 40 minutes of driving all the way around.

The best part about the Green River is taking the time to learn how it affected the cave structures and early commerce of the region. It's a very historical and important feature if you take the time to look.
