Very well organized company. They provide good bikes, helmet, backpack, and rain jacket (just in case). Transportation up the mountain to approx. 6,500 feet, where the rider gets out and bikes back down the Mtn. Very little peddling involved and view is stunning.

Took the tour on 9/10/16. It was cloudy, cold and misty. No sunrise for us. ABSOLUTELY wasn't as bad as it seemed at the tims because the bike ride down the Volcano was unbelievable!!! After the summit, it was clear and we took so many awesome pictures. We did go back up a couple days later when the skys finally... More

We were excited for the sunrise bike tour, and given the effort of getting up at 1AM to do this I will say that we were somewhat disappointed and felt like it was wasted money. The individuals checking us in were extremely rude and it caught us off guard, weren't we the guests here and the ones paying you for... More

My husband and I scheduled this for our first full day on our trip to Maui and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was quite hesitant to do this since I'm a bit of a worry wart, but I sucked it up and it was worth it. Waking up early was no biggie since we weren't adjusted to... More

I was picked up early morning in time to see the sun rise over Haleakala crater. We were provided bikes to take the long drive with beautiful scenery all the way down the mountain. We were then given lunch and returned to our hotels. This was a great day all around.

Awesome experience. Bit cold at the top, dress in layers. Tour guide, Corey, was funny and knowledgeable. Self guided 23 mile bike ride was fun navigating at your own pace. Rarely needed to pedal, gears were of no concern, brakes fully functional (very important). Worth a repeat in the future

There are several tour operators for this attraction, and they are quite competitive. Some offer "guided or escourted tours," which means that they group up and ride together, jamming up the road with slow and unsteady riders. Passing them can be dangerous, and they are quite rude about you going around them. All of the riding companies release their riders... More

Coming from someone who has not been on a bike in over 20 years, this ride was a lot of fun - but tougher than it seems, even for downhill. Check-in at the place was smooth, but a little unsure, as they basically have you sign your paperwork, get your helmet, and all other equipment is optional (I do recommend... More

Loved this trip. There was an accident on the road as we were driving to the pick up point and could not move. Called Haleakala bike company and they directed us via another route and waited for us to arrive! Provided us with wind and wet weather gear which was needed at the top. Despite mother nature not providing us... More
