Easy to get to and a very pretty view.
Oct 2020
This is an easy but steep drive off the main highway that is paved for part of the journey and a rock road passable by regular cars for the last part of the journey. The parking lot at the end has some paths, a restroom and a great view by the river and across the valley to the foothills of the Tetons. We went in October and the foliage colors were stunning .

Its a nice spot despite the crowds
Oct 2020
It's an incredibly beautiful and crowded spot. Arguably the best place to take photos in the park, you got the reflection, the Teton back drop and a beautiful beaver pond. We saw no animals, it was probably due to the crowds when we went and people were making so much noise. However, what really detracted from my experience was the throngs of photographers making it quite difficult for those of us not there solely for photos to enjoy the spot. So many tripods, so many people blocking the path while taking pictures, so many people trampling what appears to be sensitive flora and beaver habitat to get a photo. It was honestly annoying. I wonder how many insta photos have me lumbering around in the background? Still a must see in Grand Teton.

Pretty area, no wildlife
Sep 2020
We stopped in the evening, hoping to see moose feeding in or near the water, but had no success.

It was still a pretty area.

Come Here for Perfect Reflection Photos of the Teton Mountains
Aug 2020
If you walk further in along the river and it is calm, you are afforded with beautiful reflections of the Teton Mountains. We started early in the morning on the 42-mile Scenic Loop with Mormon Row as the 1st stop. Schwabacher Landing was our 2nd stop. We got here at 8 am on a Sunday (8/30).

Luckily for us, it was not too windy and the water was calm. We walked about 10 minutes in. The path is flat and not a hike.

There is very little effort for a lot of reward if you are a photographer.

One of the MOST BEAUTIFUL sites to see in the Tetons
Aug 2020
If traveling to the Grand Tetons be sure to take the time to see Schwabacher Landing. It is a Do not miss location in the park. Beautiful place to take a nice walk along the snake river. Nice places to just stop and reflect of the beauty and serenity of the site.

This is not a hike
Aug 2020
My husband and I went here with our 1 & 3 year old, hoping to get a little easy exercise in. I wish I would have read the reviews a little bit better, because this is definitely not a hike or a true trail. The trail is overgrown, and doesn’t really lead to anywhere. There are a TON of bugs. It’s more of a place to enjoy the view or spot some wild life. It’s a great place for photos, and you can easily walk with your equipment to a nice little photo pot area. There is bathroom facility’s, so that’s a plus.

Must stop for photographers
Jul 2020
A must stop for photographers. This is such a beautiful spot to catch the reflection of the Grand Tetons on the water. Sunrise gives you amazing colors and chance to see mouse. It's a short walk. Wear bug spray!

Best Tip to see the Tetons Here!
Jul 2020
IG: LLTRAVELMEL (follow for travel tips)! If you want to see the tetons all to yourself, do this: Download the AllTrails App and follow the "Schwabacher Landing" trail all the way to the end (our phone worked the whole time). You will pass all the photographers, walk one mile, and end up with the most glorious view. Best at sunrise! And its a beautiful easy little hike. See my pics!
