This is the youngest part of the Rocky Mountains. The sharp jagged peaks remind us of the earth's constant motion and observe the glaciers. Drive slowly at sunset and watch the animals emerge and take over the park.

While visiting my mother who lived in Rexburg, Idaho at the time, we traveled up to Yellowstone Park for the day, then on the way back, did a loop heading south down to Jackson Hole, then over the Grand Teton mountains back into Idaho on the Teton Park Road. It was the middle of summer and around 90f, and by... More

When you drive on the road, take time to stop as many as you can, we went to the place showed on google map north 4 miles form Moose, on 191, name: Schwabachers Landing Road. We went to there 3 time at this trip. Different time, different view. We got the very nice photo.

Be sure to take time to drive some of the less traveled roads around the park. That's where you'll see some of the best views.

Several pullouts are on each side of the road , each getting closer and closer to the Tetons. The farther pullouts offer panoramic views while the nearer ones offer more detail.

It's nice to have a scenic drive like this to take when it's your first day visiting a national park. The rangers have a paper to give with stops along the way and additional information too. We didn't stop at all of the locations along the way, but we did most of them and spent a bit more time at... More

I passed through the Teton Park Road while on the way to yellowstone and back and the drive is amazing. Very scenic drive with nice spots to stop at. We stopped at Jenny lake and Jackson lake and both are amazing.

You get to see the scenery and get to the attractions of the park by taking this road. There is a park entrance fee that you have to pay to use this road.
