We absolutely loved our weekend at the Colter Bay Village! We rented a tent/cabin: two hard walls, two canvas walls, a wood-burning stove, shelf, light, picnic table, fire pit, bear box, and running water were all provided at our site. We brought zero degree bags,...More

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Cabins are simple, clean and comfortable. Camp store and gift shop excellent. Close to Tetons and south Yellowstone. The breakfast cruise to Elk Island was magnificent with best views of mountains and amazing food to go with it.

Colter Bay RV Village offers nice pull thru campsites with full hook-ups. I was surprised and very happy that the campground had lots of trees and shade on every site. My experience with rv campgrounds that have full hook-ups in national parks is more of...More

We arrived at Colter Bay Campground just after noon early July, and we were able to secure a spot. This is, as the other campgrounds in GTNP, a * first-come-first-serve * campground. Although group sites can be reserved in advance. We were given site N291....More

The water was perfect, day was clear, and the best part was the beach is on pebbles/rocks so there's no sand to clean up like the beach! The kids loved it so we're heading back tomorrow. Bring goggles! The water is really clear so you...More
