This was a good spot to visit. Great scenery and views. The park itself is incredible. It's worth the trip

We stayed here 2 nights last week after a fire near Flagg Ranch forced us to seek other accommodations. Our cabin was nicely situated (the end unit of conjoined cabins) near the restaurant. The cabins are historic and large. Jackson Lake's shore is within walking distance from any cabin and there are many trails in the area. The heating system... More

We stayed at Colter Campground for two nights after leaving Yellowstone. Our drive was 1.5 to 2 hours from the Canyon Village Campground to Colter Bay Campground and we arrived around 8:15 a.m. There was a line upon our arrival, but the rangers were efficient and checked in three cars at a time, one car/ranger. The process that I witnessed... More

This review is specific to the bay and marina. I didn't stay or eat at Colter Bay. What a beautiful 2 hours out on a jon boat. This was one of my favorite activities in the Tetons. The marina also has kayaks, which I debated renting, but I was afraid the kids (and I) would fatigue before we saw as... More

Stayed for two nights at Colter Bay in July of 2015 with my family. We stayed in a historic cabin that was relocated from somewhere within the park or in close proximity. The cabin worked out well for our needs as we have a child with a disability and there were some cabins with handicap accessible bathrooms, etc. Like most... More

Colter Bay village has an excellent location, the cabins are well secluded and will provide a feeling amidst nature. Excellent location for photography. The rooms were log wood rooms and were average. There were gaps in the room and cold air was coming in. The heaters were good but had a terrible sound - which disturbed the sleep throughout the... This location is a great place to corral the family on your national park adventure. We planned to spend time in Grand Teton and Yellowstone and this location would have been perfect if the southern entrance to the park hadn't been closed due to fires. We look forward to returning with the family when the kids are older!

First, the pros - the cabins are cute, the beds were pretty comfortable, and the location is very nice - near Colter Bay. The cons - cabins are very dark, our rag rug was horribly stained and the bathrooms are old, cramped and dirty. Most problematic - if you need heat, which you definitely might even in the summer, the... More

When you visit wonderful Grand Teton National Park and want to stay more than one day and not camp, you have no option but to stay at Colter Bay Village. We rented a "cabin" for one night. They provided no information as to where to check in, so it took valuable time to find that out. Our "cabin" turned out... More
