If you have the opportunity to see this while in the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone, I highly recommend it. The views are amazing and Jaw dropping beautiful. Having hiked all over the USA this one stunned me and has left a forever impression on me. Can't wait to see it again.

The canyon is very peaceful and relaxing. The snow capped mountains made the background worth the stop.

Some hikes are merely a highway to the destination...with the views at the end. Not Cascade Canyon. Whether you go 1/2 mile past Inspiration Point or 17 miles...stunning views the entire way!

After a fairly steep ascent to the Inspiration Point Y, Cascade Canyon is a gradual ascent on a good trail. There is often a bear and her cubs this year which can be fun or scary.

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth but this time of year is too early to come to the canyon. We hiked around Jenny lake and ran into a bull moose which was ten yards away from us and didn't seem to care. Then we hiked up to cascade canyon and ran into another couple who were... More

Since there already is a listing for the cascade canton trail, I review here the rest of the canyon, which will be somewhat more demanding than the trail which attracts 99 % of the canyons visitors. Baxter's pinnacle is more overlooking Jenny lake so it is in another domain but Guides Wall on Ice Point is a worthy destination for... More

After the boat ride to Jenny Lake - which makes sense, as it pays to conserve your energy for when u really need it - we did hidden falls and inspiration point. Inspiration point is quite steep- the entire way. But don't let that stop u - just keep stopping on the way. the day we were there was fairly... More

Absolutely fabulous! Great if you can make it to Solitude Lake but even if you don't, GO. After climbing the hardest part of the trail (Inspiration Point), you're robbing yourself of the best part if you don't at least hike a bit of Cascade Canyon. We saw these two Moose just off the trail. Every turn is more beautiful than... More

Excellent choice for hiking. Our first hike beyond the Tetons was through Cascade Canyon up to Lake Solitude. There were a few short strenuous grades but for the most part beauty beyond belief. Did not spot a bear but there was plenty of wildlife. Moose, the Elk were bugling, Marmots, Big Horn, Deer. Bear were spotted over around Colter Bay... More
