A great 10 mile round trip from Jenny Lake to the spot in the canyon where trails split off. Although it is a popular trek, you will see wildlife, often a moose along the creek, as well as black and grizzly bears. Hike with others, make noise and bring bear spray, just in case.

The hike to Cascade Canyon has never disappointed me. This year was my fourth visit and as always it's breathtaking. If your looking for a great photo ops with trees water and rock this is the place to be. If it's animals your wanting to view I've always been treated to moose and bear at times closer than I like.... More

We caught the shuttle boat across Jenny lake and walked the 0.9 mile up a steep climb to inspiration point. Beautiful walk, following waterfalls all the way up. Last bit is a little narrow, but worth it for the amazing view of Jenny lake and the mountains. We then carried on up to cascade canyon. Quite a steep climb, still... More

The trail starts at Hidden Falls, then goes up Inspiration Point which is a pretty steep climb. The trail is for those in good shape. The trail wonders through Cascade Canyon and then climbs to Lake Solitude. The last mile or so is a little tough because of the climb and the altitude but once there, it's beautiful. Take a... More

If you have the opportunity to see this while in the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone, I highly recommend it. The views are amazing and Jaw dropping beautiful. Having hiked all over the USA this one stunned me and has left a forever impression on me. Can't wait to see it again.

The canyon is very peaceful and relaxing. The snow capped mountains made the background worth the stop.

Some hikes are merely a highway to the destination...with the views at the end. Not Cascade Canyon. Whether you go 1/2 mile past Inspiration Point or 17 miles...stunning views the entire way!

After a fairly steep ascent to the Inspiration Point Y, Cascade Canyon is a gradual ascent on a good trail. There is often a bear and her cubs this year which can be fun or scary.

This is one of the most beautiful places on earth but this time of year is too early to come to the canyon. We hiked around Jenny lake and ran into a bull moose which was ten yards away from us and didn't seem to care. Then we hiked up to cascade canyon and ran into another couple who were... More
