My kids love doing the junior ranger program because it is fun and they like to get the badges. Every time we go on a vacation they try to convince us to go to lots of national parks. We only started doing this a year ago and they allready have 9 badges. If you like to be outside and so... More

My kids love the Jr. Ranger program. We have visited many parks and have earned the badge. For the Grand Canyon kids have to do activities according to their age. I love that they are engaged and learning something new and exploring the area further than they might have. Even as an adult you learn new things about the area... More

My granddaughter and grandson looked forward to this activity. They were not disappointed. The ranger who guided the fossil walk was wonderful. Since they had completed the requirements with the walk, they were sworn in and given their badges at the end of the presentation. My grandchildren now want to do more national park ranger badges.

The Junior Park Ranger Program is wonderful for kids. They are three age grouping for little ones to teenagers. They have to attend a ranger lead program, complete a questionnaire, and be sworn as Junior Park Ranger. The kids love it. Cheering from the audience in the waiting line at the Visitor's Center adds to the excitement for the kids... More

My main reason for taking my kid to the parks is to instil an appreciation and respect for nature. I am thankful gor the Junior Ranger programs because they do just that. I learn something new, the kids learns something cool and gets a token for her efforts. This makes every visit more memorable for both of us.

We have been at multiple National parks and our daughters always enjoy the junior ranger programs. Grand Canyon was no exception. They did both the North and South rim versions and got their badges for each. The rangers are always so friendly and helpful and make the process for our girls. We also learn something along the way by attending... More

As we visit the National Parks, my girls 14, 12, 10 and 8 are always eager to participate in the Junior Ranger Program. It gives them more details about the park and many learning activities for each age group. The best part, it is free.

We had to drive an additional 8 hours round trip on our Spring Break road trip to include Grand Canyon. We are glad we did because of the Junior Ranger Program. Without it we would have been out of things to do in a half hour and I'm not sure it would have been worth the drive. This program gave... More

We are a family of 3 with a 9 year old girl. Although we have been living for 3 years in the US, English is not our mother tongue. We usually are big fans of the Junior Ranger Program and when we travel the US (very often), we never fail to attend this wonderful program. This is interesting and fun... More

We attended 3 ranger programs while at Grand Canyon. All three were very good or excellent. An easy way to learn more on your visit.
