As you hike in the mile to reach Shoshone Point you will see Elk families and hear the breeze whispering through the majestic Pine trees. It's peaceful & spectacular! Also has a bathroom and picnic tables.

Though not much of a secret anymore, we had the place to ourselves for a picnic lunch on the rim! An easy hike in and well worth it~
