Hopi point is west of the visitors center and it's on a red shuttle route. This route doesn't run during winter, so you need to drive yourself there. Find a parking and admire another phenomenal vistas of this nature wonder.

We did not go further than Hopi point. It seemed to be the point where you get the best landscape view of the canyon without the obstruction of any other mountains. We walked up the rim path while it was snowing. It was cold and mildly difficult at times as the path can get slippery and icy, but worth it... More

The walk out is about 20 minutes. It's on a well groomed path through beautiful Ponderosa Pines. Once you get there, it's well worth the stop and effort. It was the most lovely spot we visited in Grand Canyon National Park.

If you have limited time in Grand Canyon, we would suggest you to take the red route along the Hermit road to Hermits Rest point. While there are multiple look out points for viewing the majestic Grand Canyon, Hopi Point probably offers the best views. Highly recommended to make this stop and spend some time to marvel at the gorgeous... More

This is my favourite viewpoint @ the south rim, this has 360 degree views and is generally crowded but it has enough room for you enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place . It was great that it had a restroom as it's a long way from the visitor centre.

Took a trip to the south rim of the Grand Canyon on thanksgiving. Loved the spots on the red trolley line with Hopi Pt being my favorite. Broadest views including Colorado river. Not as crowded as the locations near the Village. Gorgeous.
