Shuttle service begins very early and makes seeing sunrise possible — got thee by the skin of my teeth. Would have preferred to have been at the Point longer before sunrise so check timings first but really pleased I was up before 4:30am for the Shuttle.

Take time to take in the view. Absolutely breathtaking. Take the shuttle bus or hike. No private vehicles allowed. Worth the views.

Stop here. the sites are gorgeous and you can get here by bus or bike. WONDERFUL views ( there were these like may flies here but I think it was the time of year. they just land on you and don't get off!)

This lookout point is only accessible via a shuttle bus. Not being a geologist, the view here is very good and is quite similar to that at Grandview Point. So if you are ecology minded, take the shuttle and visit Yaki Point. If you don't...More

So we got on the correct color shuttle but thought we were going in the opposite direction. By going to Yaki Point we continued our eastern rim discoveries. It is really worth the visit.

Excellent place to view the sunset! Was glad we got there early to find a good spot - but watch your kids! Not too many guard rails right by the edge! Beautiful to just sit there and watch an amazing sunset. Can take the shuttle...More

The area around here is a good subject for photographing the beginning of the trail and down into the canyon. The South Kaibab is a great trail for either getting down into the canyon quickly, or inner canyon photos with cliffs above as it runs...More

You take the orange shuttle to get here which works well. Good views with lighter crowds. Grand views

Everything in the Grand Canyon was breathtaking. Yaki Point was an easy hike from the visitor center and well worth it.

Yaki Point has some of the best views on the South Rim. It is the easternmost stop on the Orange Route and can only be accessed by shuttle bus or on foot. There are great views both directions. Don't miss it!

Yaki Point is along Desert View Drive, and is the eastern-most stop made by the orange shuttle line. It is not open to individual cars. I think taking the shuttle is easiest, though you could also use the park's taxi... More
