Stopped as we left North Rim for Moab-- worth it!

We didn't know anything about the Navajo Bridge when we left the North Rim headed to Moab. We knew we had a long day of driving ahead of us, but when we got to the bridge, we thought, "We have to stop and have a look." Your stop can be as brief or as long as you want. We probably... More

Make sure you stop and take a picture or two of Navaho Bridge as you cross over to the North side. I generray stop overnight in Lee's Ferry and do Balancing Rock. It is huge. Many back canyons to explore on the North side also. And the fishing is pretty good not far from the dam so the water is... More

Of our 3,400 mile road trip, this was one of my favorite, unexpected stops. This land in this area is beautiful. The river is beautiful. It was an amazing experience, at the edge of the Navajo reservation, in northern Arizona. I'm not sure why it lists it as in Grand Canyon, the Historic Navajo Bridge we crossed was closest to... It's there in the title, a Great stop on the backroads of the Grand Canyon. The whole road is worth the drive and the Bridge is one of the highlights.

We took a different way back to Canada this time. We have gone through Page before, but decided to go the Hwy89A route. A bit of a windy road , but the scenery is beautiful. The view from the top of the bridge , stunning. From there , we continued northward to get to Hwy I -15. What a surprise... More

Great photo opportunities. You can walk out on the bridge, high above the river below. Resroomst is all natural, no water system. In the summer it really stinks.

We traveled over the Historic Navajo Bridge on the shuttle ride back after running rim to rim. Our driver stopped and parked allowing for us to walk over the historic bridge, and take photos of the actual traffic bridge. The Colorado River is a long way down! You can take beautiful photos capturing the towering rock walls. Worth a stop... More

We were there when the wind was strong and gusting. It was an interesting experience . It felt like a minni sand storm. I hope I never experience a big one.

The bridge had great views and is worth a short stop. Even more gorgeous was the drive to the bridge - the surrounding mountains are so colourful, and the scenery is fantastic. Definitely recommend this!
