This tour company and its staff are amazing! I wanted to experience certain areas of Arizona but as a senior, travelling solo, it was difficult finding existing tours that covered the areas I wanted to go without going over areas that I had already been, and I didn't want to self drive. I needed someone to customise my trip.
My first contact at All Star was with Ivy, almost 18mths prior to my intended travel date. Ivy was more than helpful, she was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very patient. She responded promptly to my every email (and there were lots of them) and anything I asked for, she could organise without a problem! Nothing detered her from helping me put my bucket list holiday together! It was expensive given the foreign exchange rate and the fact that I was travelling solo however, what I got far outweighed the cost. Over 4 days I had my own 'private' car with my own 'private' driver, all transfers, pick-ups drop offs, two 'private' picnic lunches inclusive of wine (if I so desired), two restaurant meals, all snacks, and bottled water.
Ivy introduced me to my driver Dave about a month before I arrived into the US. Dave was the perfect tour guide. A local, he was most knowledgeable, and an absolute gentleman, so easy going and amiable. He picked me up from Phoenix Airport in a wonderfully, clean and comfortable vehicle and we stopped for dinner at El Encanto Dos, a popular Mexican restaurant on the way to Flagstaff. He helped me with my luggage at every stop and ensured everything was in order at my hotels before he left me. The main purpose of my trip was to visit Monument Valley, I'd organised to stay at The View Hotel for 2nts under my own steam and Dave got me there and back safely! We stopped in all the places I wanted to stop along the way including Forrest Gump Hill but Dave also made time to stop at other places of interest that I hadn’t thought of. At Cameron Trading Post, Dave set up the perfect picnic lunch that had been prepacked by Ivy according to my food preferences that we had discussed weeks earlier via email. Dave returned to pick me up two days later and we did some similar stops and another picnic lunch on the way back to Flagstaff. Over the next day or two, Dave escorted me to Montezuma Castle, Sunset Crater, Sedona and Airport Lookout, lunch at Dellepiane restaurant in Sedona, Tlaquepaque Village and the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I was also really pleased to have loads of time for gift shopping and plenty of photo stops, and then an unexpected bonus stop for cheese and wine before I had to say goodbye.
Before leaving Flagstaff, I then had the pleasure of meeting Ivy which was an absolute delight after all the time we had spent communicating via email.
Thank you Ivy. I simply cannot give All Star Grand Canyon Tours enough credit for the most awesome experience I have ever had, I felt really special and I am so glad I found you!
Ivy and Dave, you both deserve 10 stars!!

During the most incredible solar eclipse, my son and I embarked on an amazing backpacking trip through the Grand Canyon with All-Star Backpacking, where we hiked 20 miles, swam in the Colorado River, and showered in creeks over the course of three days.

I'm so grateful for this experience and I hope it serves as an inspiration for more parents to take the leap and embark on similar adventures with their children. The bond we shared and the memories we created are absolutely priceless.

Ben (the owner) is beyond kind and our guides, Andrew and Jeff, were a highlight of the trip. I will be booking many more backpacking trips with them and I cannot recommend this team enough.

My partner and I recently finished an incredible three day, two night backpacking trip with All Star. It was simply amazing! Cody worked with us to tailor a trip to exactly what we wanted and showed great flexibility, grace, and magician-ship to make it all happen when we made some last minute changes to our itinerary. The customer service throughout the planning process was excellent. All Star makes it easy to plan the Grand Canyon experience of your dreams.

Our time in the canyon was incredible! Cody was a wonderful guide—he is skilled, knowledgeable, informative, authentic, kind, and a lot of fun. We were blown away by our meals in the canyon. We ate like royalty! Cody made the whole trip stress-free. We got to savor the magic of the canyon while he took care of all the cooking, cleaning, the many logistics on the trail, and even fixing a boot malfunction. Thank you Cody, John, and the rest of the All Star crew for an unbelievably amazing trip!

On March 17th we booked a private tour of the Grand Canyon concluding with a sunset view. We were picked up at Enchantment Resort in Sedona by our guide, Jeff. Jeff drove us to the Canyon and brought us to a number of spots where the vistas were incredible! He is a guide for backpacking and climbing expeditions in the canyon so his knowlege of the history and geology was unbelievable. We had a spectacular day with Jeff! I would highly recommend this experience.

With only 2 days in the Grand Canyons, we booked a private all day tour for 2 old “farts”, a 5 month old, a 2 year old (😱), and their parents. Our guide timed and chose each stop to accommodate the little ones moods (meltdowns) and naps.
We enjoyed a plethora of snacks and drinks throughout the tour - all of our choice! And our classy (cloth napkins, silverware, etc!) lunch was scrumptious with the most spectacular view.
To finish our day, we witnessed the sunset with another smorgasbord and champagne toast.
And incredible day. Well worth every cent it cost!!

Our tour guide Rachel was beyond amazing! We learned so much and enjoyed being with her so much. She was so sensitive to our limitations and helped us make the most of every site. We came away feeling we had total immersion and knowledge in all things Grand Canyon. She has a real passion for what she does and generously shares it. We came away feeding like we had an awesome new friend.

Wow! Dave was our tour guide and was in time, made us feel safe, explained everything we were about to do, prepared us and was full of knowledge.
The weather was perfect and that aided in our experience. All*Star Tours thinks of everything. We took the beginner hike which sounds easy but it was challenging, yet very rewarding. David Spies is the guide you want if you like to learn about the canyon, have a guide with patience and want to feel safe.

I was not even a part of the hiking group but they provided pivotal help. On the way out of the canyon, I was having difficulty - I hadn't eaten well, I didn't have enough water and I was becoming dehydrated. The guide (I didn't get his name) was leading his group out of the canyon without issue and was kind enough to give me water and powdered electrolytes. I wasn't even a paid customer! This was a game changer for me and allowed me to continue out of the canyon, maybe a little slower than I had wanted, but without dehydration.

When I tell the story, I tell people "he saved my life". LOL. Thanks, All-Star Canyon Tours, for being a decent human being.

Just FANTASTIC! First, Communication regarding the trip and how / what to prepare Nick was always prompt and attentive. I started the process in August for a March Trip - so there was a lot of back and forth. Now the trip itself. Our guide John D met us the night before and gave us the full run down. We went down the canyon via Hermit to Monument - amazing. John D was the best guide and host he’s extremely knowledgeable and has been doing these trips for over 20 years. The food was excellent (Steak Diane, Fajitas, etc...). I can’t say enough positive things about the team at All Star and John D. If you chose them you will not be disappointed no matter which tour you choose.

Our guide, Molly, could not have been better. She brought us to the most beautiful and scenic areas of the Grand Canyon, while providing facts and answering questions. I was originally on the fence about booking the tour but now I don't believe there is any other way to do it.

Molly was so patient and attentive to our children with visual impairments and made sure they were understanding what we were being shown. The lunch spread was so beyond expectation. People were stopping to comment on the "fancy picnic."

My family can't say enough about Molly and the service she provided. The recommendations she made in regards to the surrounding areas were some of the highlights for our trip.
