The trip was spectacular in every way. Our guide, Michael Wichman, was fantastic...he gave us an education about the people, geology, and history of the canyon, and he always put our safety and enjoyment at the forefront. The meals were delicious, all prepared by Michael...beyond expectations. The trip was described as strenuous, which was accurate, but it was worth the... More

Guide met us on time with supplies, hiking poles etc. It had been snowing and the path was icy, but the guide (Jeff Nickel) had strap-on spikes to make the hike safe and easy. Jeff also prepared lunch and made the trip all-together very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This was our first trip with Wildland Trekking. It was a fabulous experience and one we'll never forget. Kevin was a great guide and his cooking was remarkable given that everything was prepared using camping stoves. The trek started at the South Rim and went down Bright Angel Trail through Indian Garden. We woke up on Christmas morning next to... More

Best trip ever! Celebrated my 50th birthday with great friends and the fine folks at Wildland Trekking! Registration was done online, with ample communication from the staff throughout the process. This was a portered, 3 day gig, with 2 nights spent at Cottonwood Creek. Our guides, James and Rachel were a blast! They really knew the history of the canyon,... More

Excellently guided trip. We have hiked with Wildlands three times now and each time they maintain the same high standards. I have no hesitation in recommending Wildlands Trekking to anyone interested in exploring on foot.

I'd never been on a multi-day hike before. The company took care of the large essentials, tents, food, backpacks, and provided a comprehensive list of everything we needed to bring. Rachel Harman did a great job as our guide, taking us to remote parts of the canyon that many do not get the chance to see. This is a trip... More

My wife and I signed up with Wildland Trekking for the Havasu Falls trek. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The trek itself is a phenomenal experience that includes the hike into the Canyon onto the Hava Supai tribal land. Camping is primitive including no campfires. There is no cellular coverage or WiFi. That alone is worth... More

Although I had been to Phantom Ranch without a guide service ten years ago, my friend and I decided to use Wildland Trekking for planning, reservations and expertise on our trip in November 2016. What a fabulous trip it was! The planning was easy and very clear. When we had questions, we had no difficulty calling someone and getting detailed... More

I was so glad that I signed up to do a day hike of the South Kaibab trail in the South Rim of the Grand Canyon with the Wildland Trekking Company. Our guide Shayne Hall was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I enjoyed hearing all the interesting facts he had about the Grand Canyon and how he pointed out some of... More

My daughter and I did a 3-day round-trip trek into the Grand Canyon from the south rim. It was a totally amazing experience. Our guide, Shayne Hall, has been guiding in the Grand Canyon for 16 years, so he had a wealth of knowledge about vegetation, geology and history to share. He also put a great deal of care into...
