Yavapai point is a great place to view the canyon from. It also is the home to the yavapai geology museum where one can learn more about the canyon. It also has an indoor viewing area away from the elements for windy or rainy times....More

This was one of the first places where we gazed into and over the Grand Canyon. We felt like kids. Itw as absolutely outstanding and certainly set the tone for a great visit to the area.

Gorgeous views. Dog-friendly. We’re traveling with a large coonhound and a two month old infant, and it was a great stop for us.

On our first morning at the Canyon we were here just after sunrise, great views. The museum was not open at that hour, there are toilets there which is handy, they were being cleaned at the time so we’re closed but the nice cleaner allowed...More

There is a Geological museum here but we did not visit. However you can still go inside to enjoy the view behind the safety of glass. There is also a scale model of the canyon and a shop. Nice stop on a walk on the...More
