I have flown over 1000 hours in a helicopter and from the onset this company was truly professional. We were collected from our hotel on time and boarded the 130 chopper with ease. The flight was smooth and the Pilot very skilled. The champagne breakfast was surreal at the bottom of the Canyon.A magic experience well worth it

If you can afford it, do it! We just did and it was amazing. The moment you come out of the woods and fly into the canyon... breathtaking!

I travelled with Justin the pilot who added zero to the experience other than fly the chopper and play music. No commentary or chat, nothing on the flight plan, nothing on landmarks, nothing on the river, nothing on the changing colour of the river. I didn't want to ask questions because the guy was a @%## And then there's the... More

If you can afford to take this ride, it is worth every penny. I took the longer of the two options. It began with a ride over part of the Kaibab National Forest, where we had the chance to see several elk and get a real grasp on the size of the park. The Canyon from the air is simply... More

Plane seats 20. Our First Officer was evidently in training so pilot was letting him fly. Very nerve wracking as was very shaky. My kids were terrified. They didn't point out any views . You listen to pre recorded message on headphones that tell you about history. Only landmarks pointed out was Colorado river and Kaibab forest. Smelled horrible of... More

If you are considering taking a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon then this is the company to take you there and back. Our experience was excellent from start to finish and all staff encountered were willing to go an extra length to ensure your flight was memorable. This is the third time I have flown with this company and... More

So this outfit is a branch of the Papillon aviation tour family. We booked the 45-50 minute Imperial tour in the Eco-Star 130 helicopter. We reconfirmed our tour ahead of the 24 hr pre-tour check-in time as instructed and had 0 issues. We arrived early and drove to the Papillon building at GCN and were directed the red building with... We booked a 45min flight for 5 people at 4pm on a Monday. Due to strong winds on the 45min flight path we could not fly that afternoon. Grand Canyon Helicopters offered us 2 options. The first option was to take the shorter 25min flight and they would refund the difference which would be great if you were pushed for... More

I had always had the Grand Canyon on a bucket list place to visit and I was finally able to make that happen this year with my family. As part of my wish list, I wanted to experience my first view of the canyon by way of a helicopter. We had booked our flight in advanced and when we arrived... More

I booked this tour to celebrate my 10 year anniversary and my wife loved it. She was able to sit by a window and took some amazing pictures. I was one seat further in and couldn't see very much. Because we were on the "passenger side" of the craft I saw the rim of the canyon the entire time. The... More
