Located in northwest Arizona and arguably the world's most popular (and splendid) natural tourist attraction, the massive Canyon is 277 miles long, 18 miles wide, and at its deepest point, is more than a mile from rim to river. Most of the Canyon lies within Grand Canyon National Park and is managed by the National Park Service. It incorporates three geographically separated areas: the South Rim, the North Rim and the inner canyon.

Like any trip do some research ahead of time on the weather, distances btwn trails and where your staying, prices of entry and food areas. You can tent camp, RV camp, take bus tours, hike, stroll, raft, or just sit and enjoy. There are people from all over the world here so keep an open mind and know what/where you... More

The Grand Canyon is a great place to go. It has exceptional views of the canyon. You can hike on one of its many trails. If you do not feel like hiking, you can ride a mule or you can raft on the Colorado River. To ride mules or raft, you will need to book a reservation. To hike on... More

I spent 2 days there and it was an amazing experience. Incredible scenarios that you have to see for real. I suggest you to organise some excursions; unfortunately i have enough time to do it

Don't miss it! Take some time, take lots of photos. Suitable for all ages. Truly one of earth's masterpieces. Would be a good idea not to visit in July and August because of the heat.

Wow, what an amazing place, with breath taking views. I haven't seen any thing close like this before. Pure magical! We drove from Vegas, and drive is so beautiful. We were lucky to go there on cloudy day, with rocks changing colors to purple with cloud cover, and then back to orange red during sun shine.

We booked three nights at the Maswik Lodge in Grand Canyon village. Our party of three adults and four kids arrived at the canyon during "golden hour" on our first night and went straight to the overlook at Mather Point near the visitor center. We looked over the edge, shot some pictures, people-watched a little and then said, "now what?"... More

No matter what you've read or watched, you cannot imagine the splendor of The Grand Canyon unless you've experienced it first hand. Seven miles wide and one mile deep are merely rough measurements of the magnitude of beauty you will behold. The park is immense and can be hiked, driven and even explored by mule. There are helicopter, plane and... More

No photo can convey the grandeur of this place! An organized shuttle service gets you around the park to all the best views. Trails are well marked and there are water bottle refill stations scattered throughout. One day will get the tour accomplished quite satisfactorily.

We stayed three nights at the El Tovar Hotel at the South Rim and could not get enough of the views, weather, viewpoints, walking and sightseeing. I would not recommend this trip for children. All the children we saw were complaining they were bored and did not appreciate the beauty. There are not swimming pools at the south rim hotels... More
