I'd totally recommend this hike for anyone who would be unable to do the larger more difficult hikes. It takes you through a beautiful forest with huge trees, a creek, and more. I also used this to get to the Avalanche Lake trailhead.

There is something about strolling through this amazing stand of old but beautiful cedars, with the canopy providing shade, and the sound of the nearby brook, that will make you feel lighter, healthier and happier. The extensive boardwalk and relatively short hike make it accessible...More

Perfect hike for most anyone... Beautiful little tumbling falls, good informational signs. You can turn this into a longer hike up to a lake if you wish. Worth the time spent.

This is a 0.8 mile loop and the cedars smell great during the month of august. I suggest picking up avalanche lake trail at the end and making it a 5.8 mile hike. Worth the view

The towering trees, glimpses of rivers and waterfalls on a boardwalk trail is wonderful for all ages. Plenty of shade available. It's a loop.

Very easy boardwalk trail that leads back to the Avalanche Trailhead. Great for anyone at any age. Parking can be tough due to the popularity of Avalanche.
