We heard that the boat was the way to go to cut off a couple miles on the Grinnell Glacier Hike, and they were correct! We took our 10 year old and 5 year old on the approximate hike with us, so every mile is precious! We had some great tour guides on the boat: Jolene, Dylan, and Mac. They... More

Our first experience at Glacier NP was a boat tour of Two Medicine aboard the Sinopah. It was great! The staff is very professional and the operator/tour guide was very knowledgeable providing interesting facts and folklore about the area. The lake and mountains are simply beautiful from this vantage point. One highlight was sighting a mountain goat up on a... More

My understanding is this is the only boat tour company that operates within the park. We took the Many Glacier tour. You boat across two lakes, with a short, brisk hike between the two. Then you can take another guided hike to Grinell Lake to see the falls and glacier. Our guide was Jolene, she did a great job of... More

Our trip started at the dock right by the Many Glacier Hotel. We rode a boat across Swiftcurrent Lake, hiked a short way to another boat for a ride across Lake Josephine. The boat rides were terrific, with a knowlegeble and fun crew! We opted for a ranger led hike to another lake! Best hike we did! We saw so... More

This is a two boat ride with a small hike between lakes and boats. Plus, there is anour hike up to Grinnell Glacier. The ride was nice both sessions and both ways. Plus, the hike up to Grinnell was very interesting. Because there were so many people coming off other trails at the boat landing, we had to wait for... More

Short ride then a short hike to another boat. Beautiful scenery. Chance to hike to a waterfall but it was raining so opted out. Tour guides were informative and even spotted wildlife for us to view. Very enjoyable and worth the money.

The Glacier Park Boat Company operates tours in 4 locations in Glacier National Park: Many Glacier, St. Mary, Two Medicine, and Lake McDonald. Each location has varied length, time schedules and rates. Boat tours are a great alternative to longer bus tours for families traveling with young ones with short attention spans or pets that can't be left alone for... More

We took the Sinopah across Two Medicine lake and then continued to the guided hike to Twin Falls. The walk to the falls was easy and pretty. Our super friendly guide stopped often to point out interesting vegetation and answer questions. Once we got to the beautiful falls, she climbed with guests to the origin of the falls (this was... We used a boat to get us back from a hike to Grinnell Lake. It a great way to relax after a long hike and it allows you to really appreciate the magnificence of the surroundings. The boat driver was helpful and informative and the rate was reasonable.
