We visited between 1-2 hoping to see moose in the lake. No luck!
Quick hike—follow the trail to the Falls and after you go over a bridge, you’ll see an unmarked trail on the left right before a u-shaped tree. Follow the trail to the lake and hope for a moose sighting!

Easy hike to get to the lake. We literally came here to look for moose. We came 3 different days and we saw moose 2 of the days. One day a bull moose. The other day a female and a young bull who had a "dispute" while we watched.

We loved this lake, only a short hike (15 minutes?) from the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn in the Many Glacier area. It's a great place to spot moose and yes, we spotted one not far from the lake.

One of the best and easiest walks in Many Glacier is to Fishercap Lake and Red Rock Falls. In order to see the moose, its best to do that in the early morning and in the evening. The lake is not quite as stunning as some of the other lakes in Glacier, but...well, with Moose...who cares!

Nice photo ops, just don't approach the Moose or their babies. Bring binoculars and a zoom lens if you have one. Those two things are great to have anywhere in Glacier.

This is a short hike from the parking lot to a pretty little lake. We were told that it is a popular place to see moose. We went once in the morning and once in the evening and saw a deer, but no moose. Still a nice little walk!

A quiet lake off the Swiftcurrent trail that is a favorite spot for moose and deer. Saw a grizzly cub with mother not far behind in this area. Definitely worth taking the side trail to this lake. We saw a huge bull moose from a good distance and deer. Then take the family friendy trail on to spectacular Red Rock Falls.

A nice flat hike to the lake. We did have an opportunity to see a moose and her calf. Good for the whole family.

This trail is easy pretty leveled hike with a high chance to see moose. Depending on your timing, bigger possibility is mostly in the early morning and late afternoon. If you would like to explore the area surounding this trail feel free to stay at the campground or neat historic cabin. There is a big possibility to see moose hanging around. The trail also leads to the waterfall on the other side of the lake.

This short hike was great because of the moose! Go at sunrise or sunset to see the moose from a safe distance as they spend a LOT of time munching on the plants at the bottom of the lake. Great hike for small children and those not so agile as it is only a short hike from the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn parking lot. Bring your telephoto lens for a good shot or your binoculars.
