Magical Experience with Denali Adventure Tours

Beyond Words! My cousin and I were visiting Denali for the first time and had just "landed" in town after taking the bus from Talkeetna. It was a blue sky day and we decided to walk and explore as we were not able to check in to our hotel for another couple hours. We decided to walk the strip with gift shops and look for restaurants and just stretch our legs after the ride. We locked eyes with Matt with Denali Adventures as we were ascending the steps and he immediately greeted us with a friendly smile and told us we should "take a plane tour today!" My cousin and I were a little skeptical at first, but we were encouraged by Matt's enthusiasm and emphasis on the fact that this was the best day, with the best conditions for flying all season! He emphatically showed us video of the flight and photos of how beautiful the park is from above. Given that the park was closed we were strongly considering taking the offer to fly. My cousin and I talked it over during our lunch at a restaurant (black bear) recommended by Matt that was fantastic as well! We decided to take the tour! We didn't know when we would be able to return, and we were reminiscing about how our parents had not been to the park in over 25 years. Our flight was INCREDIBLE! Our pilot was Captian Kurt! He was well informed and when we were not listening to the audio guide was excitedly telling us about how this was one of the best days he had seen all year! We had a very smooth ride with nobody getting an upset stomach. Which we were very happy about. We were able to see ALL of Denali and this is more rare than we expected. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting the area. Our experience from booking to touching back down was a SPECTACULAR. This was not a planned adventure for us but it will be the part of our trip we will be talking about the most for many years to come! See the photos below for how incredible the day was! A fantastic flight with Air Denali

We had the most fantastic time on the flight, we got to see the mountain and a whole landscape of Denali. The flight was pretty smooth and the day was clear which made for a fantastic trip. I got some awesome pics of the mountains and the landscape. I highly recommend this company if you’re thinking about doing this flight.

Denali Adventure Tours Saves the Day

I was with Princess Land & Sea tour package and had booked a flight and glacier landing tour out of Talkeetna with another tour company. This tour was at the top of my list of MUST DO's while visiting Alaska. Unfortunately the 2 days I was in the area of Talkeetna, the other tour company was unable to fulfill the flight due to low clouds. When I arrived In Denali for days 3 & 4 of my Princess Land tour, I unfortunately encountered another cancellation of a white water rafting trip due to a company closing its doors. However last minute New Wave said we'll honor your reservation and while getting ready for that trip, I was bemoaning the loss of my Denali flyover and sure enough they said, we can fix you up with Denali Adventure Tours. 5 hours later, Denali Adventure Tours was picking me up at my lodge and shuttling me in a top end transportation vehicle to their hangars and landing strip. We were greeted very enthusiastically (by this time everyone knew who I was due to my excursion cancellations), and seated us comfortably in the plane that would take us up. Words cannot adequately describe the flight. The take off was smooth and before I could blink I was soaring above the most majestic mountain ranges and glaciers. The pilot provided experienced and informed narration of the mountains and valleys and glaciers and carved gaps we flew over. The views were breathtaking and unmatched to any other means of touring the mountain range. It wasn't long into the flight before we saw our first glimpse of Denali from a distance, and the anticipation of getting closer grew. We circled Denali and enjoyed its grandeur from all sides. We were able to fly through and above the mountain ranges and enjoyed views of them and glaciers from all angles, allowing us to enjoy the colors created from the sun and clouds. DON'T PASS AN OPPORTUNITY UP TO FLY WITH THIS COMPANY! Thanks for saving my trip Denali Adventure Tours. It would have been a major shame to have missed seeing Denali while in Alaska.

Fantastic!!!!

The spectacular views, landing and walking on a glacier- it just doesn't get any better. Booking the trip was easy, the staff was extremely professional and helpful. I would recommend this as a must see when in Denali

Awesome flight seeing tour of Denali!

We flew with Daniel on an amazing morning. He provided a running review of where we were, the mountains, glaciers, and why we saw what we were seeing.

We were fortunate to have a clear day and a clear view of Denali, something few visitors ever experience.

Lifetime Dream

The vew was breathtaking and our pilot was great. Seeing Mount Mckinley from the air was a lifetime dream. I'm so glad Denali Adventure Tours was able to make that happen.

Denali experience

I did the ATV and the Denali plane glacier tours. The ATV experience was great. More fun than we had expected. Henry and his partner were fun and entertaining through the whole tour. The glacier landing was insane and worth the money. Erick the pilot was awesome. Had so much knowledge about the surroundings and made the “small’ plane experience easy to handle if your not comfortable flying. Thanks guys!!

Moose and Jeremiah were great guides. We enjoyed everything on this tour from scenery to overall experience. It’s not your slow paced tour but adventurous and especially loved the creek bed and riding through creek. They even heard about a moose around and found it for us to see. Highlight of my trip.
