The sled dog kennels are a short shuttle bus ride from the Visitor Centre located in the Park. We got a free courtesy coach from the Princess Wilderness Lodge, so the whole experience cost nothing. You get close to the dogs and see them pull...More

A fun introduction to sled dogs, and an opportunity to meet the dogs. I would have liked to see the sled take a couple more laps of the course but definitely a worthwhile visit.

We’d already met sled dogs elsewhere and thought this might be redundant but we really enjoyed it. Educational, well done. Loved the demo with the dogs pulling the cart.

This is one of the best demonstrations. They presenters all work with an love the dogs. They are the actual patrol team for this amazing National Park. I thought the presentation and the demonstration was well done and its FREE.

We stopped here before leaving the Denali area the day after our Park Road tour. It was very much worth our time to see how they train and use the dogs.

Good demo of husky sled (there is no snow but they get some training sled out) and informative. Would love more interaction with the husky but respect the rangers and their jobs. Worth going.

You have the option to take a bus from the visitor center or you can hike there. The bus ride is a short ride and offered round trip. Dress casually, the same as you would for the national park!
