Pretty neat!

We didn't even know we were going to be able to see the sled dogs, let alone pet them! It was neat to see them in action as well as hear about their training.

Beautiful dogs and great sled demonstration. Aurora says her name constantly when she wants to go for a run. Enjoyed a nice light lunch in the dining area with a pretty view of the river outside.

Best for kids as a hands-on learning experience. The animals are impressive though and seem to love what they do.

There are several sled dog demonstrations during the day, but you MUST be in line for the bus at least twenty minutes prior to boarding to ensure that you get a seat. Also, when you get to the sled dog area, give the dogs a quick look, and head to the viewing area to ensure that you get a good... More

Coordinate your visit with the demo schedule. It is worth while to see. Make sure you check the performance schedule, online or otherwise. Free shuttle pick-up in front of the visitor center bus stop (across from the train depot). Shuttle is limited, you have to be at the shuttle stop at least 30 min before the scheduled demonstration. The demonstration... More

To be honest, we didn't go for the demonstration. We simply arrived afterwards just to pet the dogs and it was so worth it. They are cute and friendly, and it was relaxing to have some canine time. It's easy to park right off the road in the lot and then a quick little walk down to the kennels (about... More

This is a great display of the training that these beautiful and hardworking dogs go through in preparation for their winter work. During this short demonstration the ranger explain how the dogs train and a short actual run is then conducted. After that you get to visit and pet the dogs in their kennels and even see puppies.

Afteer paying top dollar on our cruise to see sled dogs who were in the Iditirod, I think my kids loved the Park Ranger Huskies here, who police the perimeter of the park from poachers and haul stuff in and out of the park, even better

Great to spend time with these beautiful working dogs, and hear a very informative narration by Park ranger as well as a show.

Stopped by to visit the sled dogs at Denali National Park. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Denali (the other was being able to actually see Denali). You get to visit with the dogs, the rangers provide lots of interesting info and then you get to see a dog sled demonstration.
