My husband and I took the McKinley Run and it was a very relaxing ride down the river. It was the last day for the company glad we were able to take the trip. Our guide was the best however I am unable to remember his name. My biggest regret is we are in wet suits nobody had a camera on them not even our guide so we did not get any pictures. We thought they took pictures along our ride but they did not, we also did not get to see any wild life but that is not the fault of anyone. They put you in wet suites we took gloves as they suggested and I am glad we did. The staff was very helpful in assisting us into the wet suits. The day was pretty and it was pretty warm.

Excellent guide- Marcus was a great instruction giver and has lots of great stories and background information about the Nenana river and rafting in general. The dry suits keep you dry but remember to wear extra layers underneath to stay warmer if your trip is on a cold day. If anyone in your party has second thoughts about white water rafting there is a safety briefing given on the riverbank and the guide gives anyone that changes their mind about going a chance to opt out and have their money refunded. If you change your mind but don't show up they consider that a "no show" and there is no refund under those circumstances. They will pick you up at your local hotel and drop you off at the rail depot after your rafting trip if that fits your travel schedule. They have limited luggage storage room so get your hotel to transport the large suitcases to the rail depot.

Super fun way to enjoy Denali!! Loved chatting with our raft guide, who truly loves her job. We even spotted a moose and a baby moose for a split second! Appreciate all of the employees there for their patience with us as we got into our dry suits. Wish I could've gotten a photo of us on the raft/in the water though!

Great 2 hour paddling trip! Reed was a fantastic guide! Dry suits kept the GA girl nice and warm through the splashes.
