This is great hike however the trail can be difficult and steep and in many areas can be slippery depending on the weather. Recommend you plan on spending 4-6 hours for the trip and bring lots of water. The view from the overlook is great...More

4 Hours up & 4 Hours down.... Don't forget your water and Pepper Spray, long hike and you're not always the only one on the trail... Best time is in the Fall when all the Colors are out...

Our family conquered this hike on our first day in Denali. We were told the hike would take about 2 hours to reach the overlook. Our young adult sons made it in less than one hour and my husband and I reached the overlook in...More

Great trail, strenuous elevation climb, drink plenty of water several days prior to hike, breath-taking view from top of Mt Healy. Definitely worth the climb.

It's the best trail nearby the Park entrance. You can hike to the pick of the mountain that assure you a great landscape! Obviously is not comparable to the backcountry trails, but you can take the opportunity to hike it in a snow or rainy...More

This is a great short hike, definitely steep, but well worth the VIEWS during peak foliage! It probably goes without saying, but dress in layers. Enjoy!

This is a very well-traveled trail, but you should always have bear spray with you when hiking in Alaska! It's better to be safe than sorry!
