At 8:50pm on June 23, a very energetic and knowledgeable employee of Denali ATV Adventures picked us up in front of our hotel for the 2.5 hour Midnight Sun Adventure. We were transported to Healy, just outside of DNP border, on a shuttle bus to begin the tour. Each of us in our party were given a single rider Kodiak ATV, a helmet, a pair of goggles and a mask (for dust protection). Because of the lack of rain, it was a thrilling but very dusty ride. We went over and through all sorts of crazy terrain, including a river. The guides stopped a few times times to share fun information about the area and allow for photo opportunities. We wrapped up the tour shortly before midnight. The guides were all very personable, energetic and extremely patient with the slower riders. Don't miss this one when in Denali.
***FYI*** - Just read the recent "Don't waste your time" review where the reviewer was forced to drive alongside a guide on a two seater. That policy was made very clear to all of us before we began our tour. The guides stated clearly before we set out that if any of us experienced difficulty or demonstrated the inability to follow the group or properly operate an ATV, we would have to ride the remainder of the tour next to one of the guides who was on a two seater ATV. It is an excellent rule that is in place for your safety as well as everyone else's around you.
