There are several ways to see Denali so you should research them carefully before you go in. I went on the six hour bus tour because I was with a package tour. We sat on the bus, drove around, and looked at magnificent scenery including...More

How can one review one of the most awesome of God's creations? Being there fulfilled one of our top "Bucket List" experiences and didn't disappoint. There is far more to see and do than could be accomplished during our stay so we had to choose...More

You have to ride a bus into the park and the price varies depending on how far you want to go. We thought we would be able to get the time of bus we wanted no problem, but it turns out they were sold out...More

A rainy day at Denali is even better than a sunny day at the Caribbeans!! When all park rangers demonstrate the love and passion of the park and their jobs, it makes the visit so rewarding!!

If you can, see Denali NP by air and land. The aerial views are breathtaking. Wildlife is in abundance and the Fall foliage is bright, capturing the season in its full glory.

Even though Denali itself hid behind the clouds all day, the park is breathtaking. We flew in to Kantishna ( with a fly-by of the mountains from above the clouds ) from the entrance of the park then took the park's shuttle bus back to...More

A visit to Denali National Park is highly recommended. We travelled by bus into the park and although there were many people there we still saw lots of wildlife and great views.

If you travel to Alaska you must visit Denali. Such a huge area of protected land and wildlife must be visited to be understood and appreciated. Breathtaking vistas along with bears, moose, caribou, mountain goats and the occasional wolf make it a natural wonderland.

We were very fortunate to see Denali for multiple days without cloud cover. It was extraordinary. Took out breath away.

Which bus tour did he take? Who did he book it through? We're cruising on Holland-American, booked A Denali Package and, if we are understanding correctly, that package merely gets us from Seward to McKinley Chalet Resort for a night's lodging, free time in the morning and then a bus/coach to Fairbanks.

Hello! We are going to Alaska for a land, cruise tour. Would you say the 8 hour tundra tour is better then the 5 hour tour in denali? If we did the 8 hour we would have to cut out the riverboat/goldpanning portion in Fairbanks in order to come into Denali a day early. Thanks.

The tundra tour goes over 50 miles into Denali. The other tour goes only about 20 miles. The chances of seeing animals like caribou, moose etc is greater on the tundra tour. However, you are on the bus for almost 8 hours... More
We have all day on 5/24 and 5/25 in the Denali area. We haven't figured out how to see the park so early in the year. It seems most tours start in June. Any suggestions?
