You drive through a series of smaller canyons up and down hills and fun curves. Not much of a view but you get to see the canyons from up close. No crowds!

Short but very sweet detour off the main road. Isolated, but spectacular scenery. Unlike anything I’ve ever done. Highly recommended!

This is a little out-of-the-way drive that's right off the main road into the Valley (contradiction, huh?). Well, it's out-of-the-way because I think not many people drive it. It was totally deserted when we drove it. The road winds around through a variety of little...More

Just that, a little loop trail that counts towards the I hike DVNP 2018 sticker. Kids enjoyed seeing the old wagons, especially toddlers who are in love with machinery now. Its a short loop and very easy trail with educational signs along the way.

It's all about the 20 Mule Team Borax era. Makes you very glad you didn't have to work there! A short stop but this is about man's footprint, not natures.

Love this short dirt road - twists and turns but probably ok for most cars. Lots of fun rock formations and great views. Another awesome place in Death Valley.

The one way road is only wide enough for a car and is very twisty with sharp turns as you go thru interesting mound formations all around you. A very interesting drive.

Beautiful one way drive with plenty of opportunities for picture taking of the unusual landscape. One would never expect the beauty of these unusual and colorful formations a short distance from the main road. Don't miss it!

I’d say anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour if you make stops. We drove really slowly but never really stopped for an extended time and it probably took 30 minutes. Take lots and lots of water and make sure your vehicle... More
