Beautiful View From The Top

After a short walk to the top, the panoramic view of the mountains right after sunrise is gorgeous. There are trails by the parking lot if you choose to hike in the area.

Because we were travelling with a dog in the car, we had to take turns going up to the lookout / but we had both been here before years ago, so not a big deal. But having been to about 50% of the US Nat'l Pks, we've noticed that pet-friendly areas have been popping up, and maybe it's time to... More

We watched the sun come up over death valley at Zibriskie Point and it was like the scene from Chronicles of Riddick. It was also hilarious as the German contingent kept shouting at an unfortunate tourist in a red T Shirt who was in everyone's photograph. Cries of "you are ruining this for everyone" rang out. Get up early this... More

I was there a rainy day, the colors of that day were very unique giving a sensation of immensity. The view you have from Zabriskie Point is amazing

This is a very beautiful place, especially at sunrise. Easy to access for any age. May be crowded since it is a very popular and easy to get to place.

Spectacular any hour of the day. You climb up 125 feet of paved path, with benches to rest on. The view is about 270 degrees, with all kinds of different textures and colors of rocks. If you don't like rocks, you can always look at all the camera people with their expensive cameras.

The park is approximately a 2 hours or so drive from outside Vegas. This makes for an excellent day trip and is definitely the highlight of my Vegas trip. There are so many beautiful views of mountains and valleys. Zabriskie Point was the first of our stops. It was really very beautiful. I believe the cost to enter the park... More

A great spot, with provisions for a number of walks, including a possible loop through into Golden Canyon. Very open to the sun, so take plenty of water and the usual Death Valley precautions.
