Excellent fun and the scenery was incomparable. Incredible views! We've done this before at a ranch outside Zions park but Bryce Canyon is naturally set up for a horse trail ride. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous ride from start to finish. Beautiful view(s) of Bryce Canyon with plenty of time for excellent pictures. A lot of explanation and history provided by the trail guide. Very, very, nice ride!

They horses are great, and the guides are fun and know the horses to well. This is a must if you go, you learn, laugh, and see so much.

We went riding on a cold, snowy day. It wasn’t pleasant and picturesque due to the intermittent fog, snow, and sleet. We probably could have cancelled so it’s well worth checking if the weather is bad. Having said that we decided to go and it...More

It is very easy ride, but you are on a horse for a long time, With quite a bit of up and down on the trails. Which it hard on your bum, so take that in consideration, you will hurt later.

More important is how will he react if the mule starts to falter? Can your son control a horse if the horse in front of him slips?

Most scenic route from Bryce to Arches National Park (9 Replies)
Will be visiting Bryce Canyon for the day and doing a horse back ride at Canyon Trail Rides. We hope to make some progress towards Arches National Park before sunset. We will be on a motorcycle and was wondering what the more scenic route would be from Bryce to Arches National Park. We also want to make sure that we would be able to get accommodations along whichever route we take. Thanks

The most obvious choice is Hwy12 from Bryce to Torrey. Spend the night at Torrey, then continue to Arches the next day on Hwy 24 to 70.While in Torrey try Cafe Diablo.I've always liked Austins Chuckwagon for a place to stay. Hwy 12 will be fun on a bike.

Help - Do Canyon Trail Rides have a contact email? (13 Replies)
I would like to book the Bryce Canyon 2hr Trail Ride & their website only has a phone number for their contact. I have tried messaging them via Facebook which is also on their contact but no luck so far. Can anyone help me with a email contact?... Surely in this day & age they must have one?

I sure don't see one on there website, only the phone and postal address, plus the social media contact. stuff. This time of year, they may be closed due to the weather (I'm guessing; that is not listed on their website). I will send you a PM on with an idea.

Mule Ride to Supai Tunnel at North Rim (6 Replies)
Booked the three hour mule ride with Canyon Trail Rides to Supai Tunnel for my husband and myself and two teenagers. There are only about 25 reviews on this ride on TripAdvisor. Anyone have any experience with it and this outfit? I believe they are the only ones on the North Rim. Comments? I'm a little hesitant/concerned. Thanks!!

I did this ride about 6 years ago and watched some of it last summer while hiking on the N. Kaibab trail. It is a lot of fun, nothing to be concerned about, the mules are sure footed and the wranglers are professional. Have a great time.
