Best vieuw for a long time

The best vieuw i have seen in a long time. It is not far or deep. But the rock formation is unique and lovely to walk in.

Easy access for those unable to hike. Great idea so that all can enjoy the park . You can access the other trails from these points

Just a short walk from the lodge, this point provides amazing views of the canyon, and is the starting point of the Navajo Trail. If you want a nice moderate hike, you can start here and take the Navajo/Queens Garden Loop. Or you can walk along the rim to Sunrise Point, and do the same loop in the opposite direction.... More

If you want, you can plan your day in the park in order to hit this spot near sunset, OR, during the afternoon, as the sun is behind you viewing this point. We were there on a rainy afternoon. It turned to sprinkles by the time we got back here. I waited until the clouds cleared and was able to... More

A good place to start. If you do nothing else you can see quite a lot from here. We had an overcast day so colours were great and pictures came out showing a lot of colour in the layers. Really hard to find adjectives to describe what you see to do it justice. My mouth was open a lot, no... More

If you spend time and look hard enough you will see magical places within the hoodoos and rock formations. Look for castles, the Parthenon and ancient Gods living in the canyons.

tour buses stop here and parking is limited so shuttle access is necessary unless you stay at the lodge which is walking distance. you can do the rim walk from here. lots of photo opportunities with color images of the hoodoos. This view is a must do.

Colors vary by time of day. It's easy to walk between the main points along the rim (Inspiration Point, Sunset Point, Sunrise Point). All are accessible from shuttle bus.
