Beautiful walk to see this outstanding jewel of nature. Colorful and awe-inspiring. Well worth the short hike for an unforgettable vista of Bryce Canyon and the surrounding area. If you appreciate geology, you will love this stop in Bryce.

Note at sunset that you will not see the actual sun setting or the colors involved. What you encounter is the sun setting behind you which lights up the rocks in front of you proving a bright glow making the hoodoos pop even more from...More

The amazing views you will get from this short hike are so worth it. It’s very clean and well maintained. The climb back up may be a little bit much for some but just take your time. There’s even some benches along the way that...More

This is a gorgeous viewpoint, but if you want to make your stop here truly remarkable you've got to go through Wall Street and take the loop back to Sunrise Point. This 3 mile loop can be intense at the end when you are climbing...More

Great spot for sunrise and great start to go down into bottom of Canyon. Be sure to include walk between Sunrise and Sunset point. It's nice to see views from all points in Bryce

We started at the far end of the canyon, so we were pretty tired of climbing by the time we got back to this spot. However, the views were breathtaking! This spot is a must-see at Bryce Canyon!

It was beautiful to watch the sun rise above the canyon and see it all gradually light up golden. You do not need to be right at the point to watch it. But the point is elevated.

This is definitely in the top 3 stops in the park....and it is interesting how the views change a little as you walk around....don't just view from one vantage point.....move about the area and notice the differences.

small wedding accommodations (6 Replies)
My fiance and I are interested in getting married in Cape May. We are only interested in a small wedding, either in the garden of a B&B or at Sunset Point. We would like to bring out 5 children (ages 8-14) along to share the ceremeony with us, but are undecided. Can antone recommend B&B accommodations where we could stay and have the ceremony or provide other suggestions for a small ceremony in Cape May. Everything I have seen on the web seems geared more toward larger wedding parties.

When you talk about small how many people do you mean? There are always cermonies held on the beach. The number of people will help in a suggestion for a reception or small dinner.

After weeks of planning, We finally visited Utah in the last week of April. Weather was perfect and we couldn't ask for more. Thanks everyone in this group for your help. We did a four day trip with itinerary as follows: Day_1: Drove from St.George to Zion park. Rented wet suit gear from Zion Rentals and started on the Narrows hike at around 2pm. One of a kind and must do hike. Finished it by sunset and drove almost 4.5 hours to GreenRiver. Stayed there for the night. Day_2: Drive(~1.5...More

Day three that was Dead Horse Point SP. Yes, you did it, but IMO it was way too much to do in 4 days. Your report confirms it.
